Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use simaya.app, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or larger text.
What we did
- Pages use headings, lists and landmarks in a logical order, and declare their language.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the content.
- Text and controls meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios, and colour is never the only way information is shown.
- Pictures that carry meaning have a text alternative; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages adapt to small screens and to text enlarged up to 200 percent, and respect the reduced motion setting.
- There are no pop ups, time limits, moving content or scripts.
Standard and testing
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the basis of Israeli Standard 5568. On 9 October 2026 we tested every type of page on this site at desktop and phone widths with the axe accessibility engine, using its WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, and it found no issues. We also checked keyboard navigation and measured colour contrast.
Known limitations
Automated tests can't find every problem, and the site hasn't yet been tested by people who use assistive technology. Destination pictures are illustrations and are described only briefly. The Simaya app is a separate product, and its accessibility is checked separately.
Report a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, write to hello@simaya.app with the page address and what happened. We'll get back to you and fix confirmed problems as soon as we can.
